For a washroom basin a long way from the boiler, where hot water arrives late and lukewarm. The Redring Powerstream RPS12 is a 12kW instant water heater that fits in the cupboard under the sink and heats mains water only while the tap runs, so there is no tank and no standing heat loss. It suits hand basins in offices, schools, care homes, gyms, cloakrooms and en-suites, and can feed two basins. This model is the top of the range, for the highest outlet temperature at a given flow.
Important: the RPS12 is hard wired on its own dedicated circuit (50A MCB, 30mA RCD) and has no plug, so it must be installed by a qualified electrician to BS 7671. It is for hand washing, not for filling baths or washing up.
