An inline fan sits out of sight in the loft or ceiling void with only a grille showing in the room, which is why the Dexpro DXIF100T is the usual choice for bathrooms and shower rooms where a wall fan would look out of place or where the duct run is long. It pulls up to 310 cubic metres of air an hour through 100mm ducting, a lot more than a wall-mounted fan of the same size, with two speeds to match the room.
The run-on timer keeps it working after the light goes off to clear the last of the steam. It is IPX4 rated and comes pre-wired. Ducting, grilles and clips are sold separately; fit by a qualified electrician with an isolating switch outside the bathroom.
