The Westinghouse 77874 is a radio frequency remote control kit designed to add full wireless control of both fan speed and light to compatible Westinghouse ceiling fans. Unlike infrared remotes that require direct aim at the receiver, this RF ceiling fan remote transmits through walls and works from any position in the room with no line-of-sight needed. Four independently selectable fan speeds and a dedicated light on/off switch give complete day-to-day control without touching a wall switch or pull cord.
Built-in thermostat and programmable timer for energy-saving fan control
The integrated thermostat monitors real-time room temperature and automatically adjusts ceiling fan operation to maintain your preferred comfort level, reducing unnecessary runtime and cutting energy use without any manual input. A programmable sleep timer with 2, 4 and 8-hour settings lets the fan switch itself off overnight, making this remote particularly well suited to bedroom ceiling fans. The backlit LCD screen displays current room temperature, active fan speed and light status clearly, even in low light conditions.

This RF remote kit is compatible with all Westinghouse ceiling fans except Hugger models such as the Everett. For whole-home or multi-room installations, multiple ceiling fans can be controlled simultaneously from a single handset by fitting each fan with its own receiver and synchronising to the same frequency.
