Specialist infra-red lamps like the R125 hardened glass ruby envelope are crucial for husbandry applications, leveraging the potent energy emitted by incandescent sources. Crafted from robust boro-silicate glass, these lamps withstand thermal shock efficiently.

With its distinctive ruby coloration, this lamp serves as an indispensable heat source in animal husbandry contexts. Installation mandates a minimum distance of 0.5 meters from surrounding objects.

Boasting a 5,000-hour lifespan and enduring 20,000 switching cycles, this lamp features an ES-E27 cap, an 80° beam angle, and a warm 1500K color temperature. Its color rendering index of ?87 ensures quality illumination. Suitable for dimming, it offers instant full light upon activation.

However, it's vital to note that this lamp is designated for indoor use only and not suitable for household room illumination. To prevent breakage from thermal shock, it's imperative to shield the lamp from liquids and humidity.

  • Large items that require delivery on a pallet will not qualify for free delivery

For orders under £50, please see the following delivery tariffs. Please note that some delivery locations / times (see below) will incur additional charges.

  • Fed ex Signed For Delivery – £5.95 + VAT
  • Guaranteed Next Working Day Delivery, (If ordered before 2.00pm and if we have stock) – £9.95 + VAT – Please note, orders placed on a Saturday will be delivered on a Tuesday.
  • We also offer a Royal Mail economy service for “small items” and this cost is £3.99 + Vat, this is applicale to items that will fit into Royal mails small parcel sizes (this can take 3-4 working days).

Alternative Delivery Time Charges

We are also able to offer the following timed deliveries.

  • Next Day, Pre 12 Delivery (If ordered before 1pm) – £20 + VAT – Please note, orders placed on a Saturday will be delivered on a Tuesday
  • Next Day, Pre 10 Delivery (If ordered before 1pm) – £25 + VAT – Please note, orders placed on a Saturday will be delivered on a Tuesday
